ITINERIS take a part at the ” Analysis and Experimentation on Ecosystems – Science conference” in Paris !

ITINERIS will partecipate on 8 – 10 october with these contributes:

• Oral presentation: FO3X (Free air O3 eXposure): an experimental infrastructure for realistic experiments in Mediterranean Europe;
• Poster presentation: FoR2N: Italian AnaEE network of nitrogen manipulation experiments in mature deciduous forests.

Experimentation and modeling are essential for understanding how climate change, pollution, and food production impact ecosystems. The AnaEE Science Conference 2024 aims to showcase how AnaEE’s unique methods can provide the knowledge needed to address these global environmental challenges, and how agriculture, forests, and natural ecosystems, can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase carbon sequestration. We will further discuss the importance and role of experimentation and holistic approaches that integrate across ecosystem boundaries to find solutions that can help society in tackling the changes we can already see around us.
